When I received Madison & Chris’ inquiry and saw October 29th, 2020 I did a double take because well… it was a Thursday. Even in a year as different as this one Thursday weddings still aren’t normal so I’m pretty sure I double checked the date with her before I said I was available and sure enough it was correct!!! And y’all October 29, 2020 started off unlike most Thursday’s in the upstate of South Carolina. It started with a hurricane coming through knocking out power and leaving damage all over. It was one of those days that I just had NO idea what was going to happen but I was ready for it!!
Madison & Chris were married in front of a VERY small group of family at The Loft at Soby’s and it was beautiful. From the weather to the ceremony to all the details it was such a special afternoon and it was an honor to be there to document it. The look on Chris’ face as Madison walked out onto the rooftop was one I will never forget… as were the smiles that graced their faces for the entire ceremony. These two were SOO excited to be getting married!!!
After their rooftop ceremony we took portraits with all of their family before heading downtown Greenville for portraits of the two of them!! Really love Thursday weddings (hint hint to all the couples out there) because it means NOBODY is out and about and you have all the prime locations to yourself!! After a little while of photos we headed back to The Loft at Soby’s where these two had a sit down dinner with the family!!
