I’m not going to go on and on about the woman because back in the fall of 2012 I wrote about her and how much I love her & how much her and her friendship means to me… and quite frankly it hasn’t changed… I still love her and am soo very honored and blessed to call her friend. Last fall she emailed me about a conference that was going to be happening in Austin… no specifics (because they didn’t have specifics yet) but told me we should go…. skip to October and the day came that the tickets went on sale (and let me say they were sold out in 45 minutes)… somehow we both managed to snag tickets to IF: and the rest is history :). Emily flew down the Thursday before the conference began and hung out with us here in Houston. On a wet/cold Friday morning just a few weeks ago the two of us head to Austin for the weekend and my what it a weekend it was. It was an amazing weekend and if I had enough hours in the day I’d love to do a post about it… but honestly Emily has and it’s a really good one so if you want to read about the awesome weekend we experienced click here to read Emily’s Reflections on IF: Gathering. We arrived back in Houston Sunday afternoon in time to hang out with my little one and then head off to an engagement session. I’ve always wanted Emily to come along but with her living in NC that’s never really been an option until that Sunday. We purposely arrived a tad early to downtown Richmond so I could snap a few photos of Emily before I did the engagement session. She did awesome and I’m sooo very glad I was able to get her in front of my camera!!! AND bonus she took some might fun behind the scenes photos during my engagement session… looking forward to blogging those!! Emily, I loved everything about our weekend.
