:) Quinn & Ryan Have Arrived…

For the past month it’s been a weekly thing for me… I’ll shoot Meagan an email on Thursday and find out if the babies are coming!!  I got an early surprise last Wednesday when she called me to tell me that they would be having the babies the next night.  So Thursday arrived and I anxiously watched the day get closer and closer to 6pm and somehow when Gary got home that night I talked him into driving into Houston so we could meet Quinn and Ryan!!  I am so glad we did.  We got there and spent a little time with the new mom and dad (Meagan was a trooper!!)  🙂 and met Ryan, and then after they moved Meagan to her room.. Matt took Gary and I over to meet Quinn (she was being watched in a different area of the hospital).  These two babies are adorable.  Even with all of Quinn’s tubes (which make her look so pitiful, and FYI she is doing great and should be home w/in the next week or two!!) she is precious, and they are already getting Ryan ready to be an Aggie.  Ryan weighed in a little over 5lbs and Quinn weighed a little under 4lbs.  Congrats Matt and Meagan!!  I can’t wait to see these two babies grow up.  Here’s a few shots that I was able to snag while we were there last Thursday night!!

Photography is in my blood and seeking truth is in my soul. Which is a deep way of saying, I’ve loved to take photos for a really long time, y’all. I’d love to share my story with you then listen to yours.

Some of my favorite photographs from a wedding weekend are taken with everyone in khakis. I’ve been thinking about that lately. After almost twenty years of photographing weddings, I’ve learned that the moments my couples come back to years later are not always the ones you would expect.  The first look matters. The vows matter. […]

Rachel & Ben were married on an incredible fall weekend in the upstate of South Carolina.  The weekend started out with family and friends celebrating these two at the Greenville Country Club for the rehearsal dinner.  The included hugs, the most beautiful toasts, and Ben grabbing his guitar and playing/singing for guests.  That evening set […]

For the last few years I’ve photographed Ballet Spartanburg’s performances of the Nutcracker.  It is an honor to capture these incredible students and professional dancers that share the stage for this family favorite in the heart of Spartanburg, SC.  Most years I capture the dress rehearsals, this past year due to a wedding in Charleston […]
