On October 24th I headed to Jeter Mountain Farms for Amy & Hayden’s wedding day. For a day that was expected to be a total washout according to the forecast all week it ended up being next to perfect!! We had a few sprinkles right after their first look and then as I was leaving for the evening but other than that I don’t think we could have asked for a more perfect October Saturday!!
When I arrived at the farm it was bustling with people because even though they host weddings they are a full blow orchard that operates until the afternoon on a wedding day and y’all it was so fun to watch from afar all the families doing a very North/South Carolina tradition!! I was greeted by Amy and her mom and a few of the bridesmaids that were getting their hair and makeup done and they all filled me in on all the wedding things and my day began!!! I loved getting to meet all of Amy’s bridesmaids and mom and mother-in-law!! After Amy & Hayden got ready they did a first look (and side note…. doing a first look at an apple orchard that is full of people is hard… mainly because I wanted to find a spot that was out of the way and quiet and away from all the eyes so it could be just the two of them… thankfully we found it!!) and y’all their first look was soo sweet and it was followed by a super quick rain storm!!! We grabbed my umbrellas and dashed inside!!! The rain didn’t last long because then we headed back outside for their portraits followed by photos with the wedding party and family and y’all I don’t think I’ve laughed so hard at a wedding EVER!!! Their groomsmen WERE A HOOT!!!!!
After a lot of fun during photos Amy & Hayden got married overlooking the mountains and the fall colors and y’all it was soo beautiful!! After the wedding the celebrating began with BBQ and LOTS of dancing and fun!!! These two had soo much fun and y’all it was such a joy and honor to document!! I’m super excited to share a few of my favorites from the day with you!!!!
