Kathleen & Russ | North Carolina Wedding Photographer

I started June with an intimate wedding celebration in North Carolina. Kathleen & Russ had originally planned on getting married in the mountains of North Carolina but because of covid changed things up and got married in front of their parents and one of Kathleen’s sisters on family land. Y’all it was such an amazing day. I arrived and was greeted by Russ who took us upstairs to see Kathleen. Everyone was getting ready and enjoying the wedding day and enjoying being together. It was such a joy to get to meet and know Kathleen & Russ’ families that day. There was so much happiness and joy that filled the day.

After Kathleen & Russ got ready they did a first touch where they exchanged letters that they had written to one another. These two were so excited to be getting married and the smiles and happy tears that happened during this moment were so sweet!! Shortly after the first touch they were married in front of 8 family members and then celebrated with an intimate dinner, cake cutting and dancing!!! It was such a special day and it was such an honor to be there and document the day for Kathleen & Russ!! I am so excited for them and excited to share a few of my favorite images from the wedding day!!

Photography is in my blood and seeking truth is in my soul. Which is a deep way of saying, I’ve loved to take photos for a really long time, y’all. I’d love to share my story with you then listen to yours.

I grew up in a house full of photos. My dad or I when I was old enough, was always behind a camera…family dinners, road trips, Sunday afternoons that probably didn’t seem worth documenting but somehow always were. That’s where I fell in love with this work. And somewhere along the way, I also learned […]

Meredith and J.G. invited their family and friends to the Piermont Cottage, which is part of Old Edwards Inn for brunch and farewells the morning after their wedding day.
The morning was full stories that were filled with laughter and joy!! It was the perfect way to end an amazing weekend. Venue  | The Farm […]

Meredith and John Grady were married on a beautiful, Friday afternoon in July in Highlands, North Carolina. Meredith began her day at the Farm at Old Edwards Inn, surrounded by so many incredible women in her life. The morning was full of joy, love, and an abundance of happy tears. After Meredith slipped into her […]
