If you’ve followed my work for any amount of time then you’ve probably read a little bit of this before. But I didn’t want to go back and re-read everything I’ve written in the past and try to skip stuff I’d already talked about because well… I could probably write a whole book about this friend of mine. I met Emily in the fall of 2005 and while we became friends it wasn’t until 2007 and after that you would probably classify us as being one of each others best friends. This woman has been a rock for me for the last 9 years and I am sooo soo thankful that God placed her in my life at McAllister’s Deli in the fall of 2005. Emily is a woman who loves her people with her whole heart and then loves God more. She is someone who seeks truth, seeks God, and then speaks it… does it.. lives it. Emily is honest, kind, loyal, supportive, loving, beautiful, funny…. She is that person that you can talk to about anything and in return will be honest and speak truth and life into my life and support me and love me through all of it. Emily loves my girls and my family and we love her!! She is “aunt Emily” to my girls and will ALWAYS be part of our family and I love that. I love that when Gary & I sat on the beach in 2016 he said “we should invite Emily to come with us” and so I randomly mentioned it thinking she’d think we were nuts and that she wouldn’t want to spend her vacation with 5:30am wakeups and kiddos and schedules… but yet she said “let’s do it” and so this past August she came down and we made the trip together and then she lovingly came back a day early from vacay with me so I could photograph a wedding & she assisted… y’all I don’t know how to say thank you enough to this friend of mine. Thank you for loving me and my family. Thank you for supporting me and letting me talk your ear off and get your opinion on business stuff… for rambling and complaining and crying and just being there and doing life alongside of me. Emily, your friendship means soo soo much to me and I have loved getting to do life with you (even if it’s an hour and a half way 99% of the time). I love that we can talk all day or not talk at all. I just love that God had a funny sense of humor and placed us in the same place 😉 at the same time and the rest is history!!! Here are a few of my favorite images I took of Emily when we were at the beach in August. Her and I scooted away one evening for photos and girls night and it was soo much fun!!!! Happy Happy Birthday my friend!!! I hope today is amazing!!!!
