I met Brittany & Alex a few Friday’s ago in downtown Spartanburg for their engagement session… and y’all it was such a BEAUTIFUL evening!! When we started talking about this session they both immediately knew that they wanted to take the photos downtown since they both grew up in Spartanburg (but what’s fun is that they didn’t know each other!! It wasn’t until after moving away for college and returning back to Spartanburg did they meet… and well now the rest is history!!)!! I always love shooting in downtown Spartanburg because of how quaint it is and then throw in that is is where someone grew up and of course it makes it even better!! I really can’t believe the weather we had on the February evening that we took these photos!! I’m not a fan of the cold so this mild winter we’ve had has been right up my alley… and then throw in Brittany walking up in a tulle skirt and y’all I had all the heart eyes!! Brittany & Alex brought along Tucker for a few photos!! He was awesome and everyone loved him that passed by while we were shooting (and even though Alex may disagree… I think Tucker smiles!!)!! Brittany & Alex are the type of people that just make you feel soo comfortable and right at home. They are two of the sweetest people and I am soo looking forward to their May wedding!! Thank y’all soo much for wanting me to be y’alls wedding photographer and for letting me document just a glimpse of the way y’all love one another. Between the way they look at one another, hold hands, and just are with one another… what they have is special and I’m excited for them and what the future holds!!
