It’s hard to believe that this year is almost over and that this wedding was my last of 2016!! And y’all, what a way to end my year!!! You may recognize these two from their engagement session back in November. I headed back to Houston a few weeks ago to document these two on their wedding day!!! It was a TAD chilly for Houston standards but they day was AMAZING (awesome bride & groom, wedding party, families, getting to do what I love, and doing what I love with a friend by my side… yep it was amazing)!!! Hannah & Brett were so excited to become husband and wife and it was such an honor to photograph them doing so. The love that these two have for one another, their family, and their friends is a love that I can sit here and just grin ear to ear about. If you’re reading this and you’re not from Texas then I don’t know how to paint the picture of a Texas A&M wedding for you… especially one in which the groom is a former yell leader ;)!! If you are fortunate enough to live in the great state of Texas then you’ll definitely meet your Aggies, Longhorns, etc… and a lot of times if you didn’t go to Texas A&M you can look in on their traditions and school spirit and think “there’s something in the water there because people can’t love each other and their school THAT much”… I can sit here and type that because I’ve definitely said it. I hadn’t even heard of Texas A&M until we moved to Texas in 2008 and it wasn’t until a few years after working with Aggies and parents of Aggies did I start to see and understand the “magic” of this school in College Station, Texas. I was telling Gary when I got back home to Greenville on Sunday that I REALLY miss getting to photograph weddings of those that went to Texas A&M because there is this bond that is soo soo special and simply so much fun to photograph & be part of. You don’t just graduate Texas A&M with a degree… you graduate there with a family… you’re an Aggie… and that means a lot!!! After quite a few years of photographing Aggie weddings… I can say without a doubt that the “magic” that surrounds the campus and those that go to school there and graduate from there… well it’s magnified on a wedding day!!!
Hannah & Brett’s wedding day was magical if I can say so myself!! From the moment Hannah arrived, to the moment her & Brett left as husband and wife it was magical. There are not enough words to describe this wedding day or this amazing couple… so I’m going to let y’all have a look at their sweet & beautiful wedding!!
Even though the wedding & reception were going to be taking place at night 🙂 I had to get photos during the day because it was all soo beautiful!! I love December weddings!!!!

Alright, I’m going to need all my future brides & grooms to twirl ALL over the dance floor!!! Both Hannah & Brett, and Hannah & her dad twirled and spun and danced all over and it was sooo much fun to watch and photograph!!!
Such a fun evening!!! And as you’ll see, right before they did their sendoff the Aggie War Hymn was played and all 5 of the past yell leaders took their place in the middle of the circle!! LOVED everything about it and was such a perfect way to end the evening!!
Hannah & Brett, THANK Y’ALL!!! I am sooo sooo honored to have documented your wedding day!! It was such a fun day & I have loved getting to know the two of you!! I am soo soo sooo excited to see what God does in and through y’alls lives and marriage. I hope you two had an amazing time on your honeymoon!!! Enjoy these last few weeks with family & friends before y’all hop across “the pond” to start your lives together!!!
