2016 | Greenville Photographers | Spartanburg Photographers

2016 may have just been the fastest/craziest year of my life!! Not only did I have a baby, but I photographed so many amazing weddings & families, and brought a new dog into the mix!!  For those of you who are thinking about doing the puppy & baby thing… it’s cute when you think about it but really just wait ;)!! While we LOVE Boone and are pretty smitten with him ;), he’s just made an already crazy year, even crazier :)!!!!  This year I have photographed weddings ALL over the upstate at some amazing venues, ventured up to NC & TEXAS as well for weddings and photographed sessions ALL over North & South Carolina and it has been soo much fun!!!  I love what I do, like love love love love love it!!!  I love everything that it envolves… from marketing, to business, communication, the sessions, the weddings, the learning, and editing… granted the actual weddings & sessions are the most fun for me because I’m actually getting to interact & take photos with people… but all in all, I love everything about Kendra Martin Photography.

I can not thank those of you have wanted me to document your memories enough!!!  I have had so much fun getting to know y’all, laugh with y’all, and even cry with y’all this year!!  Thank you, thank you, thank you for believing in me and supporting me!!!  I get to do what I do because of y’all, so THANK YOU!!!!

This year I get to thank TWO interns that I have had the honor to have by my side… Abbie for part of the year, and then now Christa.  Y’all have been soo helpful and have taught me probably more than I’ve taught y’all!!

To my friends, thank you for letting me go MIA this year as I buckled down with running a business & had my hands full with two little girls!!  Y’all have all been so supportive and loving and I appreciate it more than I can say!!  Thank you also to the friends I’ve talked into tagging along to weddings or bridal shows with me when I was in a pinch!!!

To my family, specifically my mom, dad, and sister…. Y’all love our girls sooo well!! Thank you for watching the girls this year so I could go out and do what I love!!

To Gary, Kenzie, and Kenlee.  I love y’all more than words can say!!  Even if it’s for a quick 30 minute session I HATE leaving y’all but the hugs and kisses that I get as I’m walking out the door AND when I get home make it all a little bit better.  I know without a shadow of a doubt that God created me to be your wife Gary, the girls mom, and love on others in the way that I do with my work.  I know that God put this passion for both my family & photography in my heart and I try my best to serve Him well by serving y’all well (or as well as I possibly can).  Y’alls love and support and encouragement (yes I know two of them are too young to even understand this letter but my hope is one day they will read it) push me to be a better wife, mom, and photographer.  I love y’all!!!
