Greenville, SC Wedding Photographer | Wedding Venues

With my family’s move to Greenville, SC a little over two years ago, it has been so much fun to learn about, see, visit and also get to shoot weddings at so many amazing venues here in the upstate.  There are SOOO many in the upstate and then even in neighboring North Carolina, Georgia, and the rest of South Carolina as well and they are all very unique and stinking amazing.  I’m always up for shooting at spots that are new to me so I’m looking forward to all the venues I get to photograph weddings at in the future as well as return to the ones I’ve already photographed weddings.

Here are just a few Greenville, SC Wedding Venues that I have photographed weddings at since moving to the beautiful upstate of South Carolina.  I love how different every single one of them is!!!

I was standing on a porch in Highlands last fall, watching the fog roll down over the mountains while a bride got her veil pinned in by her mom. Nobody was rushing. There was coffee going cold on a side table and somebody’s grandfather telling a story in the next room. And I remember thinking: […]

Some of my favorite photographs from a wedding weekend are taken with everyone in khakis. I’ve been thinking about that lately. After almost twenty years of photographing weddings, I’ve learned that the moments my couples come back to years later are not always the ones you would expect.  The first look matters. Rachel & Ben were married on an incredible fall weekend in the upstate of South Carolina.  The weekend started out with family and friends celebrating these two at the Greenville Country Club for the rehearsal dinner.  The included hugs, the most beautiful toasts, and Ben grabbing his guitar and playing/singing for guests.  That evening set […]
