Greenville, SC Photographer | It was early but we had fun!!

Some of y’all are probably asking “is she still blogging photos she took when she was in Texas last fall”… well yes!! But this is my last one!!  It was a crazy, busy, awesome, photography packed weekend and I loved having so many amazing past clients, friends, and even new clients in front of my camera!! The rain made me change EVERYTHING up about the weekend but I wouldn’t trade the way the weekend unfolded for a second.  I miss Texas a lot.  I miss my friends, I miss the warm weather all year (well except for all of like a handful of weeks when it may get cold”, I miss RUDY’S, I miss my locations I loved to shoot at, I just flat out miss Texas… but at the same time… I love the Upstate of South Carolina.  Whether I’m shooting in Greenville, SC or Spartanburg, SC or somewhere else in this beautiful state or it’s lovely neighbor to the North 😉 I have come to love this state that we now call home.  I love the weather, I love the people, I love the four seasons, I love my BBQ!!!  🙂

But back to my weekend in Texas.  This sweet family made the drive out to Richmond, TX from Houston EARLY on the Sunday morning that I was in town.  Because of the weather I wasn’t sure this session would actually happen due to not knowing if I’d have to move EVERY session I had that weekend from 4 different days to one day.  Luckily I was able to keep a few sessions in place & had the pleasure of then meeting Sarah & Josh and their two adorable little ones.  These four were awesome and put up with the earliness, the cold, and the bird sized mosquitoes like champs!!  I had so much fun chasing their two little ones around and getting to know all four of them!!  Sarah & Josh, thank you for wanting me to photograph your sweet sweet family!!  Here are a few of my favorites from their session!!

I grew up in a house full of photos. My dad or I when I was old enough, was always behind a camera…family dinners, road trips, Sunday afternoons that probably didn’t seem worth documenting but somehow always were. That’s where I fell in love with this work. And somewhere along the way, I also learned […]

Meredith and J.G. invited their family and friends to the Piermont Cottage, which is part of Old Edwards Inn for brunch and farewells the morning after their wedding day.
The morning was full stories that were filled with laughter and joy!! It was the perfect way to end an amazing weekend. Venue  | The Farm […]

Meredith and John Grady were married on a beautiful, Friday afternoon in July in Highlands, North Carolina. Meredith began her day at the Farm at Old Edwards Inn, surrounded by so many incredible women in her life. The morning was full of joy, love, and an abundance of happy tears. After Meredith slipped into her […]
