big changes for our family | Greenville, SC Photographer | Spartanburg, SC Photographer

If you frequent my blog you’ve probably noticed that things have been pretty quiet the last few weeks! It’s not that I haven’t been photographing people, it is that I have been doing that and life sort of got crazy for our family!!! A few weeks ago Gary accepted a job in South Carolina…. So that meant putting blogging on hold so we could get the house ready to sale and then everything else that comes with moving across the country!! Soo all of that to say we are moving to South Carolina!! It is definitely bittersweet because we love our Texas home and all of our friends and family here… But we are excited for this next chapter and for Gary’s new job!!

I still plan on being a Houston photographer!! I have a number of 2014 weddings still on the calendar that I will be back for and will totally book sessions on those weekends for anyone who might want to schedule a session!!  If you’re a Houston area/Texas bride who wants me to photograph your wedding please send me a message so we can chat, because I’d love to  come back and document your wedding day (I have family and friends here that I think will be more than happy to give me a bed to crash on 🙂 ).  I am excited to now be a Greenville/Spartanburg photographer (as well as a South Carolina and North Carolina photographer)!! Looking forward to all the new friends I will meet and photograph!!!

I can’t say thank you enough to all my clients… Past and present… I love what I do and I love photographing y’all’s memories!! Thank you for letting me into your lives if only for just a brief moment and for the friendships we have!!!!

We are still working out all the details but I will begin booking sessions & weddings in SC & NC starting at the end of July/beginning of August!

If you’re reading this and want to book a session before we leave Texas please contact me as soon as possible because I have only a handful of sessions available between now and the time we move!!!

Sad to be leaving our “home” and Kenzie’s birth state but excited for what God has in store for our family!!

ps…  Be on the lookout for blog posts in the upcoming weeks!! I have a fabulous wedding & engagement session and senior/family sessions to share!!!!

Because I love photos on my blog posts… here is a photo of our family that my good friend Jamie (who also happens to be a photographer) snapped of us a few weeks ago!! Thank you Jamie for wanting to take a few images of the three of us!! We LOVE you & will miss our “aunt” Jamie!!!!

Hate you are leaving your folks down there ‘unsupervised’ (particularly your dad!!), but what a treat to have you just 2 hours away and not much more than that to your friends ‘back home’ here in WNCC! Praying for all the pieces to fall into place as God orchestrates the details of your move. You are loved and I look forward to eating barbeque with you in SC (or NC) soon!

Photography is in my blood and seeking truth is in my soul. Which is a deep way of saying, I’ve loved to take photos for a really long time, y’all. I’d love to share my story with you then listen to yours.

One of the most important choices you’ll make while planning your wedding is choosing your photographer. Think about it—the flowers will wilt, the food will be devoured, but your photos? They’re what will bring you right back to the moments that matter most, long after the day is over. So.. it’s crucial to research and […]

I met up with Brittany, Chris and their little girl at the Biltmore House for both couples portraits and family photos and it was the sweetest afternoon. It was right as everything was starting to bloom so we had beautiful color and the most amazing weather. We wandered around the grounds and took photos in […]

Laughter fills the air, glasses clink in celebration, and the excitement of the upcoming wedding day is palpable. You can almost literally FEEL the emotion in the […]
