Shawnee’s hs senior session | Spartanburg, SC Senior Photographer | Greenville, SC Senior Photograper

Kendra Martin Photography | Greenville | High School Senior Photographer

I could seriously photograph High School seniors every day of the week… 365 days a year!!! There’s just something about that stage of life that I love photographing sooo much.  I love hearing them talk about who they are, where they are heading, what their “plans” are…  I’m actually sitting here thinking back to my senior year of HS and I remember the excitement of being “done” with school, getting ready to head to college, the summer of doing all kinds of random things… the boxing up my room with all the memories I’d made… the big dreams, the not knowing what the future held… I can put myself in my room and remember thinking that everything was getting ready to change & that right there was SOOO exciting to me, it still excites me 10 years later…

I met up with Shawnee & her mom at the beginning of June to take her senior photos.  Shawnee had actually just graduated the previous weekend and moved down to the Katy area with her family who had relocated here just a short time ago.  This girl was awesome!!  There had obviously been a lot of rain the day of her session but it didn’t phase her at all to just go barefoot for practically the entire session and didn’t seem to care one bit when we walked through mud!!!  Shawnee is so sweet and I had so much fun spending the evening with her and her mom!!! 🙂 🙂  Thank y’all for picking me to photograph your senior photos.  Can’t wait till our paths cross again!!!  Shawnee, I hope you are having an incredible summer!!!  Good luck in the fall!!!!!!  Here’s a few photos from the session…

Photography is in my blood and seeking truth is in my soul. Which is a deep way of saying, I’ve loved to take photos for a really long time, y’all. I’d love to share my story with you then listen to yours.

Rachel & Ben were married on an incredible fall weekend in the upstate of South Carolina.  The weekend started out with family and friends celebrating these two at the Greenville Country Club for the rehearsal dinner.  The included hugs, the most beautiful toasts, and Ben grabbing his guitar and playing/singing for guests.  That evening set […]

For the last few years I’ve photographed Ballet Spartanburg’s performances of the Nutcracker.  It is an honor to capture these incredible students and professional dancers that share the stage for this family favorite in the heart of Spartanburg, SC.  Most years I capture the dress rehearsals, this past year due to a wedding in Charleston […]

After 18 years and hundreds & hundreds of weddings, I’ve had a front-row seat to some of the most thoughtful, personal, and beautifully designed wedding days across the Southeast. And when couples ask me what I remember most about a wedding, the answer is almost always the details. I think about the invitation suite printed […]
