Back in May I have the privilege of heading back to NC to be a bridesmaid in one of my dearest friends wedding.  Alicia & her friendship mean so much to me and I am sooo thankful that God put us in each others lives back in college.  Alicia, you are such an amazing woman… you are strong, determined, hard headed ;), loving, loyal, would do anything for those you care about, actually would do anything for almost anyone.  You have such a servants heart and I admire it sooo much.  I love you so incredibly much and have loved all the memories we have made together over the last 7ish (I know this is horrible to admit but I can’t remember what year we met I think it was the fall of 2006… I think!!!) years… I can’t wait to make more memories with you!!!  I am sooo happy for you & Phil!!!  I’ve only known Phil for a very short amount of time, but Alicia… he is great and I love that he makes you so soo sooo happy!!!!  Thank you for wanting me to stand with you guys and support you guys as you said “I do”.  Thank you for letting me spend that amazing weekend with you guys and your families and friends!! Love you two soo much!!!!!

The night of the rehearsal dinner I was bound and determined to at least get a few photos of Phil & Alicia… so with it being past sunset we did it anyways :)!!!  Here’s a few photos that I was able to snap of the two of them!!!

I was bound and determined the day of the wedding to take lots of detail photos from their wedding… HA!!!  That didn’t happen.  I was too busy being a bridesmaid and actually forgot I had my camera on me!! I did however get a few photos.  Just so you understand this first one… they had a whole baseball thing going one with the rehearsal dinner and reception.. they are on a mission to attend a game at every major league stadium… sooo that’s where the cracker jacks come in.  I sat down at my table and saw them and just had to take a photo of mine… and then of course I ate them because I LOVE CRACKER JACKS!!!! 🙂 And then I stole her bouquet for a few minutes and snapped the later photos… 🙂

Photography is in my blood and seeking truth is in my soul. Which is a deep way of saying, I’ve loved to take photos for a really long time, y’all. I’d love to share my story with you then listen to yours.

Rachel & Ben were married on an incredible fall weekend in the upstate of South Carolina.  The weekend started out with family and friends celebrating these two at the Greenville Country Club for the rehearsal dinner.  The included hugs, the most beautiful toasts, and Ben grabbing his guitar and playing/singing for guests.  That evening set […]

For the last few years I’ve photographed Ballet Spartanburg’s performances of the Nutcracker.  It is an honor to capture these incredible students and professional dancers that share the stage for this family favorite in the heart of Spartanburg, SC.  Most years I capture the dress rehearsals, this past year due to a wedding in Charleston […]

After 18 years and hundreds & hundreds of weddings, I’ve had a front-row seat to some of the most thoughtful, personal, and beautifully designed wedding days across the Southeast. And when couples ask me what I remember most about a wedding, the answer is almost always the details. I think about the invitation suite printed […]
