3 Years…

3 years ago I said I do to my best friend.  For those of you who don’t know the story, Gary and I met in high school at the ripe ages of 14(me) and 15(Gary).  We dated off and on all through high school and college and tied the knot in 2007.  Over the past three years we have encountered a lot… we got married, went to Puerto Vallarta, we moved to northern Virgina, started new jobs, acquired our first child… opps I meant dog 🙂 (daisy!!), we were transfered to Texas, bought a house, made a home for ourselves, found a church body to be part of and serve with, went on a cruise, went through a layoff, found me a new job, started my photography business, Gary started graduate school, we’ve gone on mini vacations, I went on a missions trip to Brazil, we serve together with the youth group at our church, etc, etc…  These past 3 years have been a whirlwind, but a good whirlwind.  I’m not saying that everything has been peachy-keen (b/c believe me Gary or I (especially me) are not perfect)… marriage is hard, but so worth it and with God in the middle of it we’ve been able to overcome/deal with the obstacles and successes that have been thrown our way.  I am very thankful that I said I do to Gary and have been able to grow along side and with him the past 3 years.  Gary you are my best friend and I love you very much.  I’ve had a lot of fun experiencing life with you and I can not wait to see what God has in store for us.  Happy Anniversary!!!
