mommy & son | Spartanburg, SC Lifestyle Photographer

A few weeks ago I was in Wilmington, NC… While I was there I got to spend a little time with a very good friend of mine.  I didn’t get to spend a lot of time with Jenn but I did get to spend a few hours with her and mr. stinker ;).  We had decided before either of us made it to Wilmington that during our short but good visit we’d do a quick mommy & son photo session.  Due to my crazy schedule that weekend we had to do the session mid afternoon down at Fort Fisher (and if you know me you know that’s not a normal time I like to take photos… I am totally an hour before sunset or sunrise girl that loves to have the sun behind my subjects 🙂 ).  I am so happy with the way these photos turned out and the images I was able to capture.  Being a mom and not really ever being in front of the camera with Kenzie since I’m usually the one that’s taking the photos I wanted to make sure Jenn got a good number of images of the two of them because I know how much any photo with Kenzie means to me!!  Jenn, thank you for wanting to get in front of my camera.  I SOOOO enjoyed our time together & am so thankful and blessed to call you friend!!!!!  Here are a few images from Jenn’s session…

Elegant, inviting, and effortlessly timeless, it draws in couples who want more than a pretty backdrop. They want a full weekend surrounded by their people, steeped in joy, and filled […]

Whether you’re planning a full wedding weekend or an intimate celebration, you’re in the right place. Because this is the part where I make sure you’re taken […]

When couples ask me about Charleston wedding season, I always start with the same honest truth: Charleston is gorgeous year-round, but timing makes all the difference for your photos. After photographing dozens of weddings in this beautiful city, I’ve learned which months give you that dreamy, effortless light and which ones require some serious strategy […]
