Ross | Greenville Senior Photographer

Kendra Martin Photography | Greenville | High School Senior Photographer

Two years ago I had the pleasure of photographing Ross’ older sister so I was very excited when his sweet mom contacted me to take Ross’ senior photos.  We scheduled the session and low and behold session day came and the chance or rain was high (actually it rained on and off all day).  We decided to play it by ear… The good thing with shooting in an urban location is that you don’t have to deal with wet ground quite as much as you do if you’re at a park or using a field.  Ross & his mom were coming from Katy and it was raining there but here in Richmond (where we did the session) it was just overcast… so we decided to go for it.  As soon as I parked it started sprinkling so I immediately called Jeanmarie to see what they wanted to do… They said let’s just see what it does… We started shooting with it sprinkling but it didn’t last long and we ended up with absolutely perfect weather by the time we finished so I for one am so glad we went ahead with the session!!

I’ve decided Ross needs to tag along to all of my senior guy sessions because he made it look so easy being in front of the camera :).  Ross will be heading to The University of Texas in the fall and I am so excited for him.  He’s such a gentleman and was a lot of fun to photograph.  Ross loves skateboarding so he brought his board with him to the session.  It was fun to throw it into photos and see what we came up with :)!!  Ross, thank you for being such a trooper!!  Good luck with the rest of your senior year and have so much fun in Austin in the fall!!  Jeanmarie, thank you so much for wanting me to photograph Ross.  I loved spending time with you… I can only imagine the crazy photos you captured of me while photographing Ross!! Here’s a few of the images from Ross’ session…

Photography is in my blood and seeking truth is in my soul. Which is a deep way of saying, I’ve loved to take photos for a really long time, y’all. I’d love to share my story with you then listen to yours.

One of the most common questions I get—right after “What’s your favorite wedding venue?”—is “How do you balance being a mom and running a photography business?” The truth? Some days, it’s a well-oiled machine. Other days, it’s organized chaos. But it’s always full of love, creativity, and a whole lot of carline coffee.  Being a […]

Meredith & Marc had an amazing weekend in October in Highlands, NC. They were surrounded by their family and friends from start to finish and it was an amazing weekend to document. Their Friday included a bridal brunch, golf and rehearsal at The Farm at Old Edwards before everyone headed downtown Highlands for the rehearsal […]

When it comes to capturing beautiful moments, having the perfect backdrop can make all the difference. Luckily, Spartanburg, SC, offers so many gorgeous locations for photo sessions, from lush natural landscapes to historic campuses and charming downtown streets. Whether you’re planning engagement photos, family portraits, or celebrating a milestone, here are some of my favorite […]
