Family session… {Sugar Land, TX – Family Photographer}

I totally meant to blog these last week and then life got the best of me :).  This sweet family was my very last session of 2012 and I loved being able to finish out the year with them.  You’ll probably notice two people in these photos… Lindsay & Landon (and you’ll see their newest family member)… But this is Landon’s family.  Landon’s mom Kristi (who is one of the sweetest ladies EVER) contacted me back in the fall saying that Liz’s family (Liz is her daughter) would be in from Canada over Christmas and if they could figure out a date… that they wanted to do a large family session.  I was excited because I love Lindsay & Landon so I couldn’t wait to hang out with another part of their family.  So we all met on a VERY WINDY/somewhat cold/it was cloudy to sunny to cloudy again, Sunday afternoon and had a lot of fun.  These 9 had me smiling and laughing (just thinking about their session makes me smile right now) the entire time.  I loved meeting Lindsay & Landon’s little girl for the first time and loved hanging out with Kristi & Dave, and Liz & her hubby Dave and their two sweet boys.  Thank you all for such a fun afternoon and for wanting me to capture these memories for you guys!

Photography is in my blood and seeking truth is in my soul. Which is a deep way of saying, I’ve loved to take photos for a really long time, y’all. I’d love to share my story with you then listen to yours.

Rachel & Ben were married on an incredible fall weekend in the upstate of South Carolina.  The weekend started out with family and friends celebrating these two at the Greenville Country Club for the rehearsal dinner.  The included hugs, the most beautiful toasts, and Ben grabbing his guitar and playing/singing for guests.  That evening set […]

For the last few years I’ve photographed Ballet Spartanburg’s performances of the Nutcracker.  It is an honor to capture these incredible students and professional dancers that share the stage for this family favorite in the heart of Spartanburg, SC.  Most years I capture the dress rehearsals, this past year due to a wedding in Charleston […]

After 18 years and hundreds & hundreds of weddings, I’ve had a front-row seat to some of the most thoughtful, personal, and beautifully designed wedding days across the Southeast. And when couples ask me what I remember most about a wedding, the answer is almost always the details. I think about the invitation suite printed […]
