Senior Portraits

Catherine… {Katy, TX – Portrait Photographer}

I love love love photographing people over and over again.  I first had the privilege of photographing Catherine when she jumped in a few photos at her sisters senior session a few years ago, and then again just randomly when she was a freshman in high school.  Catherine is now a junior in high school and she once again got in front of my camera one Friday evening!!  Catherine is a total sweetheart and I love spending time with her (and her mom who just happens to be one of my good friends!!).  Catherine is sweet, genuine, loves to laugh & dance, LOVES fashion & her family, has a heart of gold and loves God with her whole heart.  Catherine, I love getting to know you more and more every time I see you, and I love just getting to see you.  I can’t believe this time next year you’ll be a senior in high school and deciding where you want to spend the next 4 years.  Thank you for for being so awesome and going with me and my crazy ideas!!  Here’s a few photos from Catherine’s session…

Some of my favorite photographs from a wedding weekend are taken with everyone in khakis. I’ve been thinking about that lately. After almost twenty years of photographing weddings, I’ve learned that the moments my couples come back to years later are not always the ones you would expect.  The first look matters. The vows matter. […]

Rachel & Ben were married on an incredible fall weekend in the upstate of South Carolina.  The weekend started out with family and friends celebrating these two at the Greenville Country Club for the rehearsal dinner.  The included hugs, the most beautiful toasts, and Ben grabbing his guitar and playing/singing for guests.  That evening set […]

For the last few years I’ve photographed Ballet Spartanburg’s performances of the Nutcracker.  It is an honor to capture these incredible students and professional dancers that share the stage for this family favorite in the heart of Spartanburg, SC.  Most years I capture the dress rehearsals, this past year due to a wedding in Charleston […]
