Hello blog world… I know it’s been a while since I’ve blogged and right now I’m having to wrap my head around blogging again. This month has been CRAZY… between working, traveling to Florida to spend a weekend with my Nana, take a mini vacation/attend a photography workshop in California, shooting everything from bridals to families to seniors, and then editing… it’s been a crazy, yet fun March. I can’t wait to blog all the amazing sessions I’ve shot the past few weeks and I can’t wait to blog images that I snapped at the workshop!! So stay tuned over the next few weeks!!
I was so excited when Elizabeth’s mom (Denise… whom is amazingly sweet and I love that she’s in my life and I can call her a friend) told me that Elizabeth wanted me to take her senior photos. Denise and I talked about when to take the photos and what not and then a few months ago we set a date for mid March!! I was a tad nervous once we started getting lots of rain… and when it came to the weekend we originally had scheduled for the session a monsoon decided to hit our area (not complaining but always a bummer when I have a session scheduled)… so we found an evening a few days later and crossed our fingers for no rain and beautiful light!! We actually got fantastic light and no rain the day of Elizabeth’s session. The night of our session was awesome… it wasn’t too hot or cold and Elizabeth totally rocked it in front of my camera. I had soo much fun with her and her mom!! Elizabeth is such a beautiful girl and I loved getting to know her. She has an amazing heart, she loves the Lord, is smart, and athletic… all around she’s an incredible young lady. Elizabeth, thank you so much for wanting me to take your senior photos… I loved spending the evening with you!! I’ll be praying for you and your decision on where to head in the fall… enjoy the last few months of your senior year and good luck in the fall!!
You’ll notice that on the back of her letter jacket she has a verse and I love that verse so I’m sharing it… Proverbs 3:5 – ” Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding”
