Peyton & Will’s Downtown Greenville Wedding | The L

Peyton & Will originally planned to get married in July and they made the tough decision to postpone until December. But y’all I don’t think they could have asked for a more beautiful day!! I arrived at the hotel to lots of smiles and laughter between Peyton and all of her bridesmaids!! These ladies were doting on her and loving her and it was the perfect start to me documenting the day!! I first met Petyon & Will a few years ago at Peyton’s oldest sisters wedding so walking into the room was like walking into a room with family that I hadn’t seen in a while and y’all it made documenting their wedding day that much sweeter!!

Peyton had three first looks!! One with her bridesmaids, one with her dad (which I’m pretty sure I cried during!!), and then her and Will and during all three of them the smiles from everyone seeing Peyton for the first time in her dress were priceless!! Following all the first looks we did portraits of Will & Peyton and y’all these two are crazy and love and so sweet to one another!! I am so excited for them!!! As we were finishing their photos the sun started to drop and y’all it finally started feeling like December!! I know Peyton was freezing but she was a trooper and we kept her warm!! A huge shout out to both the wedding party and family for how amazing they all were!! I loved seeing how y’all love these two!!!

Following portraits we headed to the church where they got married!!! After Peyton & Will became husband and wife we headed back to The L for their reception which was a blast!!!! The band was amazing and their family and friends danced and danced the evening away and I had so much fun photographing it!!! Peyton & Will, I am so excited for you two and so honored to have gotten to document your wedding day!! Here are a few of my favorite images from the day!!

Photography is in my blood and seeking truth is in my soul. Which is a deep way of saying, I’ve loved to take photos for a really long time, y’all. I’d love to share my story with you then listen to yours.

When couples ask me about Charleston wedding season, I always start with the same honest truth: Charleston is gorgeous year-round, but timing makes all the difference for your photos. After photographing dozens of weddings in this beautiful city, I’ve learned which months give you that dreamy, effortless light and which ones require some serious strategy […]

When someone says “we’re really drawn to candid wedding photos,” I know exactly what they mean, but I also know it means something different to every couple. And honestly? That’s part of what I love about it. Because candid doesn’t mean chaotic, and it definitely doesn’t mean careless.  Candid means intentional presence. It means pausing […]

I took a trip to Knoxville, TN to document Sarah & Andy’s engagement session.  They wanted to do their session where they will be getting married in 2026 and it was the best decision ever!  Not only did I get to meet and hang out with Sarah & Andy, but I also was able to […]
