The H’s family portrait session… {Katy, TX – Family Photographer}

I was soooo excited when Anna contacted me to schedule a session for her family.  Anna and James have three beautiful little girls :), so me being me I couldn’t wait to hang out with them for an hour!!  We met up on a BEAUTIFUL Sunday afternoon out in the “country” (if there is such a thing in the suburbs of Houston 🙂 ).  As soon as the two oldest (whom are twins) were out of the car they were running around and playing.  Anna had told me that they love the outdoors and that a country setting would totally put them in their element!!  After unloading the car with the chairs and quilt I started taking photos of their youngest (and she was sooo cute)… from there we did the twins and family shots ( I was even able to take a few of James and Anna).  This family is a beautiful family (and that goes for outside and inside)… James is actually our “computer/IT” guy (he may get onto me for that title 🙂 ) at the church I work for, so for the past 2 and a half years on Thursday’s I’ve had the opportunity to to get to know this beautiful family through talking with James (and getting to say hello to all of the girls when they come in to have lunch with their dad!!).  Anna & James, thank you so much for wanting me to be the one to take these family photos… Your family is amazing and I’m glad that over the last few years I’ve gotten to know you guys!!  I can’t wait to see if any of these photos end up in the yearly book (Anna puts a book together every year near Christmas of the girls and their lives – and it’s sooo much fun to look through and read what she writes and to see the photos 🙂 )… I had a great time with you guys!!!  Here’s a few photos from the session…

Photography is in my blood and seeking truth is in my soul. Which is a deep way of saying, I’ve loved to take photos for a really long time, y’all. I’d love to share my story with you then listen to yours.

I met up with Sarah & Lee in downtown Spartanburg for their engagement session and it was the dreamiest evening. We walked around downtown talking about all the things from how they met, what they love to do and even a little wedding planning talk. These two are some of the easiest humans to be […]

Let me set the scene: Live oaks dripping with Spanish moss, waterfront backdrops that look like a Nicholas Sparks novel (but with less drama), and architecture that makes you want to whisper just out of respect. South Carolina is not messing around when it comes to wedding venues. Whether you’re planning an all-out wedding weekend […]

Kelsey & Tate were married overlooking Lake Norman at The Peninsula Club. The day was one of those days that you couldn’t beat weather wise. There was a cloud in the sky and it was just right with the temperature. Kelsey got ready with her ladies at her parents house where even her sweet pup […]
