Shawna & Elliot’s Larkin’s on the River Wedding | Greenville Wedding Photographer

Shawna & Elliot met in dental school and have made Greenville, SC home!!  So when it came time to plan their wedding they decided that instead of going to one of their “hometowns” to have friends & family come to their new hometown!!  I do believe everyone had an amazing time visiting and celebrating these two!!!  I had so much fun getting to meet Shawna & Elliot’s family and friends!!  I think one of my favorite things with documenting weddings is that I get a chance to meet those closest to my couples which means I get to know my couples even better than I already did!!!

Shawna & Elliot couldn’t wait to see each other!!  They knew from the time they booked me that they wanted to do a first look and I am SOO glad they did!!!!  We did their first look a little differently than I have ever done first looks and I LOVED IT!!! Shawna really wanted Elliot to walk up to her and see her dress & then she’d turn around!!  I will say Elliot took his time taking in the sight of his bride and when he asked her to turn around she said something along the lines of “finally” which was followed by a sweet embrace!!  These two were the sweetest and the love they have for each other and the lengths they go for one another (quite literally because they are still having to be long distance because of dental school) is inspiring!!!Thank y’all for the example y’all set and the love you share with one another and EVERYONE that you come in contact with!!!

Shawna & Elliot, thank y’all so much for wanting me to document your wedding day!!
