Asheville Wedding Photographer | Beloved Homewood | Ashley & David

I have LOVED getting to know Ashley & David!!!  They are currently living in Illinois while David works on his doctorate but these two grew up in Spartanburg, went off to college, returned to Spartanburg and met here after college!!  Their laughter, their love, the way they stand up for what they believe in and go after their dreams is something I will always think about when I think about the two of them.  They are both sacrificing so much for each other, for their families, for their future and yet they do it with a smile on their face knowing that in a few years they get to grasp a few of their dreams… and that makes me sooo soo excited for the two of them!!

When they were looking for a wedding venue they wanted somewhere that would be unique to the two of them.  Ashley’s sister is actually the one that found My Beloved Homewood and y’all it was perfect!!  Homewood is located in Asheville and it was such an unique and fun venue and I sooo want to get back there to document another wedding!!  Between the stone & hidden green areas… it made my photographer heart happy!!  I had no idea what the day was going to hold for us because showers were threatening all day and even into the afternoon… but y’all, the weather was AMAZING!!!!!  The only thing I would have asked for was for the sun to make up it’s mind!! In split seconds it was behind a cloud or WIDE OPEN!!!  🙂 But hey it wasn’t raining so I’ll take it!!!  David & Ashley were sooo excited to get married & the second they saw each other was one of my favorites of the day!!  Another favorite time of the day was when I was taking their photos after the ceremony!!  These two have so much fun together and I love how at ease they are with one another!! Such a fun day and I have LOVED re-living it as I’ve gone through the images!!

Ashley & David!!! THANK Y’ALL soo soo much for wanting me to document your wedding day!! I loved getting to be part of the day and get the chance to experience the love & support that surrounds you two!!  I soo wish y’all didn’t live so far away and I also wish y’all weren’t planning to move even further away once David is done with school.  I guess that means I’ll just have to come visit and y’all HAVE to let me know when you’re home because we can meet up at your old coffee stomping grounds to catch up!!!  I am so excited for you two and what your future holds!!!  Here are a few of my favorite images from y’alls wedding day!!!
