A few weeks ago we went on vacation to Edisto Beach. We had never been before and we fell in love with it! We loved how undeveloped it is, how laid back and just quaint it is. We will definitely be returning!! While I was there I had the chance to do a session out at Botany Bay Plantation. If you’re ever down on Edisto Island you should totally check this plantation out because it is AMAZING!!! In the future when we go back we will spend a lot more time out there!! It’s such a southern location and I soo soo loved it!! Kayla & her friend Paige met me out there on a BEAUTIFUL Sunday evening!! I’ll talk about Paige next but today it’s all about Kayla!! Kayla is actually the sister of my intern from last year!! I met her a little over a year ago when I first met Abbie and it’s been fun to get to know her through her sister but then actually get time with her was even more fun!! Kayla is a senior in college and doesn’t live too far from Edisto so I was soo excited when she wanted to make the drive down for a session. I loved hearing about what she’s been up to and what she’s thinking about doing after college and all that fun stuff! Kayla is a sweetheart and was so much fun to have in front of my camera. Just like her sister she can give me so many different looks and I love it!!! Just like us, Kayla had never been to Edisto before even though it’s just a little over an hour from Charleston and I think she was just as pleasantly surprised as we had been when we drove onto the island and then again driving to Botany Bay. Hopefully it’s a place she’ll get to go and relax now that she knows about!! Kayla, thank you soo so much for wanting to get in front of my camera!! It was such a pleasure and I loved talking wedding stuff (she’s an intern with a wedding cordinator in Charleston so we had fun swapping stories 🙂 ) and about puppies and all sorts of things!!
