Y’all I am loving these engagement photos soo much.  The biggest reason I love them is because of the people in them… I had so much fun with these two & I’ve been itching to share these images with you guys!!  Ohhh and spoiler alert :)… there will be a part II blog because I just couldn’t narrow the images down!!!

Sarah & Joe are two of the most genuine, loving, sweet people you will ever meet and I had so much fun getting to know the two of them.  After an hour with these two I seriously felt as if we’d been friends for a long time and I love that so much!!!  These two and the love they have for one another is amazing.  You can see their love for one another in the way they look at each other, hold hands, glance at each other, and just speak to and about one another.  I loved hearing about how they met & started dating, how Joe proposed ;), to wedding planning, and life in general!!  Gosh, I loved getting to document Sarah & Joe during this special time & boy am I looking forward to their April wedding!!!

When Sarah & I started talking about engagement photos she immediately said they wanted to take their photos at their wedding venue, which made me really excited because I hadn’t had a chance to see it in person!!  I headed up to Greer & met Sarah and Joe at their wedding venue, The Grove at Pennington last Sunday evening to take their engagement photos.  It was such a beautiful evening and the venue was beautiful as well (and the house is YELLOW… my favorite color so score!!!)!!  Loved all the different spots where we could take photos!! I will say that I am super glad that a lot of the land had some hills because if you know these two… THEY ARE TALL… and well I’m not tall at all so at times the hills gave me a little height advantage (us shorties have to take it where we can 🙂 ).  I hope you guys enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them!!!

Photography is in my blood and seeking truth is in my soul. Which is a deep way of saying, I’ve loved to take photos for a really long time, y’all. I’d love to share my story with you then listen to yours.

When someone says “we’re really drawn to candid wedding photos,” I know exactly what they mean, but I also know it means something different to every couple. And honestly? That’s part of what I love about it. Because candid doesn’t mean chaotic, and it definitely doesn’t mean careless.  Candid means intentional presence. It means pausing […]

I took a trip to Knoxville, TN to document Sarah & Andy’s engagement session.  They wanted to do their session where they will be getting married in 2026 and it was the best decision ever!  Not only did I get to meet and hang out with Sarah & Andy, but I also was able to […]

Greenville, you’ve been a beautiful backdrop—but lately, I’ve fallen hard for something else: private estate weddings. If you’re dreaming of tying the knot somewhere that’s more your world than a checklist, a family home‑turned‑wedding‑day‑stage is where the real magic happens. Why private estates feel so right Authentic comfort from beginning to end It’s your space. […]
