Greenville Photographer | Campbell’s Covered Bridge

So you may totally recognize these sweet kiddos from a session I did with their family back in the fall.  When Joanne & I were talking about locations for that session she had brought up going to Campbell’s Covered Bridge for photos but on that particular day we weren’t able to make that happen but we immediately started talking about getting the kids up there for photos!!!  So fast forward 6 months and the weekend prior to our session Gary, Kenzie & I were just piddling and exploring and ran by there to at least see the location before I actually went to shoot there.  Y’all… It is definitely a much wanted location because it was like Saturday morning at probably 9am and there were probably 5 different photographers there (minus me because I was there just to explore with my family)… IT WAS CRAZY and I totally got nervous about my session with Joanne’s kids because well it was both Joanne & my vision to make this location happen and after seeing the craziness of that spot that Saturday morning I honestly didn’t know if it was a good idea any longer.  Thankfully, we were doing the session on a Thursday evening so we were hopeful it wasn’t going to be as crazy… sure enough we picked a good time during the week!!!  There were a handful of people visiting Campbell’s on this particular evening but other than that we had the place to ourselves and it was great!!

Photography is in my blood and seeking truth is in my soul. Which is a deep way of saying, I’ve loved to take photos for a really long time, y’all. I’d love to share my story with you then listen to yours.

I met up with Sarah & Lee in downtown Spartanburg for their engagement session and it was the dreamiest evening. We walked around downtown talking about all the things from how they met, what they love to do and even a little wedding planning talk. These two are some of the easiest humans to be […]

Let me set the scene: Live oaks dripping with Spanish moss, waterfront backdrops that look like a Nicholas Sparks novel (but with less drama), and architecture that makes you want to whisper just out of respect. South Carolina is not messing around when it comes to wedding venues. Whether you’re planning an all-out wedding weekend […]

Kelsey & Tate were married overlooking Lake Norman at The Peninsula Club. The day was one of those days that you couldn’t beat weather wise. There was a cloud in the sky and it was just right with the temperature. Kelsey got ready with her ladies at her parents house where even her sweet pup […]
