Caroline & Will’s Lowcountry Elopement

I’m not sure where to start with Caroline & Will’s wedding day.  It was one of those days that I will NEVER forget.  Part of that may be because my oldest daughter was with me but also just how sweet of an afternoon it was for these two.

Caroline & Will planned the sweetest weekend for them on the coast and it was an absolute honor to photograph their elopement while they were there.  We had all chatted via phone a few times but this was the first time I had met them in person…. but it was like walking into a house seeing friends I’ve known for years.  These two are full of kindness and love and I will never forget their hearts for not only one another but for each of us that was part of this sweet afternoon for the two of them.

When we arrived Caroline & her sweet daughter were finishing getting their hair & makeup done and Will was taking it all in. They each shared gifts with one another that were super thoughtful. I’m pretty sure there were tears shed from all around when these were opened.

I love that Caroline’s daughter helped Caroline get ready as well as stand by her side during Caroline & Will’s first look.

After happy tears, embraces and lots of smiles these two signed their marriage license and we made our way out to the beach for their ceremony!!

Caroline & Will shared the most beautiful vows and moments on an incredible summer day as they became husband & wife.

We all celebrated, took a few photos of this little family of three, and then spent time for photos with Caroline & Will and it was magical. I will never get tired of photographing anyone on the beach.

We hopped back on the golf cart to head back to the house for a little celebration!! It included cake, bubbles and a first dance!!

Caroline & Will!!! Thank y’all so much for wanting me to document your wedding day. It was an honor and now the only kind of wedding day Kenzie wants after being by my side that day. You two radiate joy and love and I can’t wait till I get to see y’all again!!!

Photography is in my blood and seeking truth is in my soul. Which is a deep way of saying, I’ve loved to take photos for a really long time, y’all. I’d love to share my story with you then listen to yours.

When someone says “we’re really drawn to candid wedding photos,” I know exactly what they mean, but I also know it means something different to every couple. And honestly? That’s part of what I love about it. Because candid doesn’t mean chaotic, and it definitely doesn’t mean careless.  Candid means intentional presence. It means pausing […]

I took a trip to Knoxville, TN to document Sarah & Andy’s engagement session.  They wanted to do their session where they will be getting married in 2026 and it was the best decision ever!  Not only did I get to meet and hang out with Sarah & Andy, but I also was able to […]

Greenville, you’ve been a beautiful backdrop—but lately, I’ve fallen hard for something else: private estate weddings. If you’re dreaming of tying the knot somewhere that’s more your world than a checklist, a family home‑turned‑wedding‑day‑stage is where the real magic happens. Why private estates feel so right Authentic comfort from beginning to end It’s your space. […]
