Sommer & Buckner Charlotte Wedding

My favorite season of the year is fall. So when fall weddings land on my calendar I get giddy!! Sommer & Buckner were married on the most perfect fall day we could have. It was one of those days where there was a little chill in the air that morning & even in the evening.. but our afternoon hours were in my opinion the “perfect” temperature.

Sommer & Bucker had their ceremony at Belk Chapel which is located on the Queens College campus. They then made their way to the Charlotte Country Club to celebrate with their family and friends. Their day was such a sweet day to witness. From them both getting ready with a few family and friends surrounding them, to a first look followed but reading personal vows to one another, to another first look between Sommer and her amazing group of friends, to their joy filled ceremony, to dancing the night away.. it was the perfect day.

I am so excited to share a few images from Sommer & Buckner’s Charlotte Wedding.

Sommer & Buckner, thank you so much for wanting me to be there to document your day. It was an honor!!

A huge shout-out to all the vendors that made Sommer & Buckner’s wedding day a reality!

Photography is in my blood and seeking truth is in my soul. Which is a deep way of saying, I’ve loved to take photos for a really long time, y’all. I’d love to share my story with you then listen to yours.

I grew up in a house full of photos. My dad or I when I was old enough, was always behind a camera…family dinners, road trips, Sunday afternoons that probably didn’t seem worth documenting but somehow always were. That’s where I fell in love with this work. And somewhere along the way, I also learned […]

Meredith and J.G. invited their family and friends to the Piermont Cottage, which is part of Old Edwards Inn for brunch and farewells the morning after their wedding day.
The morning was full stories that were filled with laughter and joy!! It was the perfect way to end an amazing weekend. Venue  | The Farm […]

Meredith and John Grady were married on a beautiful, Friday afternoon in July in Highlands, North Carolina. Meredith began her day at the Farm at Old Edwards Inn, surrounded by so many incredible women in her life. The morning was full of joy, love, and an abundance of happy tears. After Meredith slipped into her […]
