Emily & Stephen’s February wedding day was one for the books!! Thinking back to the day all I can do is smile and think about how fun and sweet the day was!! As soon as I walked into the getting ready suite where Emily was getting ready at the AC hotel in downtown Greenville I knew I was in for a super fun day!! Emily and all of her bridesmaids were wearing the most fun sleep shirts … so of course I was photographing that!!! As I was photographing all of Emily’s beautiful details it was so fun to listen to her and her friends & family have so much fun!!
After getting Emily ready we went to the rooftop at Juniper for all the things!! We started our time doing a first look with Emily & her dad, followed by Stephen getting ready!! Y’all Emily & Stephen gave each other letters to read (and the basically said the exact same thing) and they both cried when reading them.. which in turn had me crying watching them cry!! Emily & Stephen that had their first look followed by portraits on the rooftop!! It was such a fun space to do portraits!! We did their portraits as well as wedding party photos there before heading to the church to get these two married!!
One of my favorite moments on a wedding day is right after my couples get married and their people greet them for the first time!! Every group is different and I will say the greetings Emily & Stephen received were hype squad greetings and I loved it!!! That hype carried over to their reception and made for the most fun evening at Huguenot Loft in downtown Greenville!!
Emily & Stephen, your day was insanely beautiful… but more than anything it was full of love and joy and it was an honor to document the two of you become husband and wife. The way you two love and support one another makes my heart happy!!! I can’t wait to see you two again soon!!
