Maddie reached out to me early in 2022 about photographing her March 2023 wedding day. Over the last year I have had so much fun getting to know her and Adam! I met them in person last summer in downtown Charleston for their engagement session (with their brand new puppy!!) and we had so much fun. These are two of the kindest people you’ll ever meet!! Along the way Maddie mentioned to me that her dream had always been to get married in Charleston but it just wasn’t a reality.
After her wedding venue had to be changed just a few months before the wedding day… and before the wedding even happened we decided that after the wedding (since they live in Charleston and I was going to be down there) we were going to make portraits in their wedding garb happen downtown Charleston… and we did!!! Adam works night shift so he had slept a little bit prior to the session.. but we spent an evening walking around downtown Charleston and taking photos in so many beautiful spots!! We started on Chalmers St and ended on the battery and it was BEAUTIFUL!!!! I’ve shared images from this session here and there on IG but I’m excited to share more of them today on here!!!
