Cliffs at Glassy Engagement Session | Emily & Stephen

I met up with Emily & Stephen at Cliffs at Glassy for their engagement session last summer and it was a fun evening!! If you’ve never been to Cliffs at Glassy know that no matter what time of year it is… it’s usually going to be about 10-15 degrees cooler there than it is when you enter the cliffs at the entrance. Which is perfectly ideal when it’s later spring and summer! Emily & Stephen had me smiling and laughing and my cheeks hurt by the time we were done. They will be getting married in Greenville but wanted something a different for their engagement session and loved the thought of Cliffs at Glassy. When they mentioned Glassy I was so excited because it is one of my favorite spots to take photos. There’s just something about how the sun hits the chapel and it’s surround landscape really at all times of day but especially in the afternoon and at sunset!! We started the session at the Chapel and then made our way to the golf course (the particular day we did this session the course was not open to golfers) and then we headed back down towards the entrance and grabbed one more location that overlooks the valley. LOVE the variety that Emily & Stephen’s engagement session has! Here’s a little peek at a few of my favorite images from their session!!

Rachel & Ben were married on an incredible fall weekend in the upstate of South Carolina.  The weekend started out with family and friends celebrating these two at the Greenville Country Club for the rehearsal dinner.  The included hugs, the most beautiful toasts, and Ben grabbing his guitar and playing/singing for guests.  That evening set […]

For the last few years I’ve photographed Ballet Spartanburg’s performances of the Nutcracker.  It is an honor to capture these incredible students and professional dancers that share the stage for this family favorite in the heart of Spartanburg, SC.  Most years I capture the dress rehearsals, this past year due to a wedding in Charleston […]

After 18 years and hundreds & hundreds of weddings, I’ve had a front-row seat to some of the most thoughtful, personal, and beautifully designed wedding days across the Southeast. And when couples ask me what I remember most about a wedding, the answer is almost always the details. I think about the invitation suite printed […]
