Payton & Burton Greystone Wedding | Asheville Wedding Photographer

Payton grew up spending her summers at Camp Greystone as both a camper and a counselor and that’s where she met Burton’s sisters… and well the rest is history :)!!! It was only fitting that their wedding be held at Camp Greystone. It’s a spot that is super special to both Payton & Burton’s families and y’all it was beautiful!!! When their wedding day arrived I popped on IG to post my wedding day post and saw that Payton and the bridesmaids were enjoy time out on the lake and it made me smile thinking about how awesome it was that they had all woken up there at camp and were spending the morning in one of their favorite places. I arrived at camp and was greeted by so many smiling faces!! It was so much fun to see all the love being showered on Payton…. and then a few hours later on Burton!!!

The leaves had just started to change mid October when their wedding happened and y’all it made the camp even more beautiful. Between the leaves, the mountains, it being October and the super crisp air it was the perfect October wedding day!!! Payton & Burton decided that the first time they wanted to see each other on their wedding day was as Payton walked down the aisle…. well Burton and multiple groomsmen were in tears… as were guests.. and me!!! It was the sweetest moment and it was followed by a sweet ceremony!! The ceremony took place overlooking the lake and other than one of the rings being dropped… which actually brought so much laughter ( thankfully the ring did NOT fall through the wooden slats on the stage)… it was perfect!!! After the ceremony, family & wedding party photos… I had a chance to be with the two of them for photos and y’all these two love each other like crazy. You can tell how much they care about one another in the way they look at each other, hold hands, and pay attention to the other whether they are having a conversation just the two of them or when one of them is in conversation with someone else. I loved getting to be with the two of them for a little bit before we headed into the reception where everyone celebrated the two of them and their marriage!!!

It was such a fun day and I’m super excited to share a few of my favorite images from their wedding day with y’all!!
