Hillary & Anthony | Claxton Farm Wedding | Asheville Wedding Photographer

June 26th was a day Hillary & Anthony had been looking forward to for a little under 2 years!!  In 2019 Anthony proposed and they immediately started planning for a September 2020 wedding.  Their families and friends would be coming to the Carolinas from all over the country and they couldn’t wait to have so many people they love so much there to celebrate with them for an entire weekend.  In July of 2020 they made the hard decision to postpone their wedding day to June 2021 and I know it wasn’t the easiest decision but these two took it in stride.  A few weeks after they had decided to postpone Hillary contacted me to see if I was still available for their original wedding date.  They decided that they wanted to go ahead and get married and the celebrate 9 months later with family and friends.  So that’s exactly what happened!!  They got married in the mountains of NC where they first met and then in June we all headed back to the mountains of NC for the weekend!!  

Y’all I can’t tell you how special it was to be there Friday night as they were greeting family and friends at their rehearsal dinner and seeing all the hugs and smiles and joy and then getting to see it again ALL day a few hours later!!  Hillary & Anthony were married at Claxton Farm outside of Asheville, NC and y’all it was so beautiful.  From their first look under the weeping willow on the property, to their ceremony on the lawn surrounded by mountains, to lots of dancing and celebrating it was the most perfect day for two amazing people.

For two years I’ve gotten to see the love Hillary & Anthony have for one another first hand and I thought in October 2019 when we did their engagement photos that they were crazy in love…. well jump to June 2021… and I would say that these are even more in love now.  They are kind, loving, quiet, joyful, and  A LOT OF FUN!!!!  To be around these two, is to know love and joy and it has been an absolute honor document their love & their relationship over the last two years!!  Hillary & Anthony, THANK YOU for wanting me to travel with y’all to document your wedding day (twice 😉 ).  You two mean so much to me and I am loving watching y’all be married and I can’t wait to see all of y’alls adventures life will bring you!!
