Sarah & Joey’s Intimate Wedding at The School House Venue | Greenville Wedding Photographer

My last wedding of 2020 was Sarah & Joey’s intimate wedding!! A few weeks prior I received the news that they were going to make changes to their day and only have immediate family and a few friends. They would then celebrate with everyone in late 2021!! While I know it was a hard decision for them to make I also know how special December 19th was for them and the few people they had there at The School House Venue to watch them get married!!

After their super sweet ceremony and family photos I took Sarah & Joey upstairs (where they were originally planning their ceremony) for photos and a surprise. Sarah kind of knew what was going to happen because I had asked her the week leading up to the wedding what they had originally planned to dance to for their first dance. Well we played it during their portrait time for them to still have that first dance as husband and wife on December 19, 2020 and y’all tears happened all around. It was one of the sweetest moments. A moment that I’m soo soo glad they were still able to have on their wedding day!!

Sarah & Joey, through everything last year y’all kept the most amazing attitudes and joyful spirits!! More than anything you wanted to be married… and it happened!! Y’all are husband & wife and I am soo excited for you two and also excited I get to celebrate with y’all again in November!!! Thank y’all so much for wanting me to be there on December 19th!! Here are a few of my favorite images from the day!!

Photography is in my blood and seeking truth is in my soul. Which is a deep way of saying, I’ve loved to take photos for a really long time, y’all. I’d love to share my story with you then listen to yours.

I grew up in a house full of photos. My dad or I when I was old enough, was always behind a camera…family dinners, road trips, Sunday afternoons that probably didn’t seem worth documenting but somehow always were. That’s where I fell in love with this work. And somewhere along the way, I also learned […]

Meredith and J.G. invited their family and friends to the Piermont Cottage, which is part of Old Edwards Inn for brunch and farewells the morning after their wedding day.
The morning was full stories that were filled with laughter and joy!! It was the perfect way to end an amazing weekend. Venue  | The Farm […]

Meredith and John Grady were married on a beautiful, Friday afternoon in July in Highlands, North Carolina. Meredith began her day at the Farm at Old Edwards Inn, surrounded by so many incredible women in her life. The morning was full of joy, love, and an abundance of happy tears. After Meredith slipped into her […]
