In March when everything started changing and as I was chatting with my couples about what they were going to do Sherry & Paul decided on a Wednesday that they would move their late April wedding to that Friday which was a little over a month prior to their scheduled date. A lot of pieces from their wedding had to fall into place in less than 48 hours and y’all… THEY DID!!! It was the most BEAUTIFUL March afternoon and it was such an honor to document this intimate wedding day for these two.
I arrived at the house to find Sherry with her dearest friends as she got ready and y’all they were so overjoyed for their friend!! They helped make her day perfect and I loved getting to see them all together. After Sherry got ready we headed to a park in Greer where Paul and their families were waiting. These two were ALL smiles as they were married and literally surrounded by their families!! After they said their vows & exchanged rings Sherry & Paul shared a first dance followed by Sherry sharing a dance with her dad and y’all I totally teared up during both dances.
What I have found that makes me really excited about these intimate weddings/elopements I’ve been photographing is how excited family is to get their photos taken. I mean their not jump up and down excited but they want to make sure everyone who is present is accounted for in photos and I am here for it and I’m also here for the playfulness that has been happening during this time. After everyone said their goodbyes I had the chance to spend time with Sherry & Paul for photos of the two of them!!
These two were so happy to be married and the love they have for one another is so apparent and it was a joy to photography!!

I know it wasn’t exactly how you had planned it but oh my goodness it was beautiful and joyful and the most perfect few hours!! I’m so excited for you two!!
