Here’s the thing about January weddings here in South Carolina. The day could be unseasonably warm for January, it could be FREEZING cold… or it could be either of those with some sort of precipitation that may or may not be frozen… So January weddings are a roll of the dice weather wise. But gosh when the day turns out to be perfect… I LOVE LOVE LOVE January weddings and that happened to be the case for Melita & John’s wedding day!!! Other than a random quick rain shower it was such a beautiful day. A little chilly but couldn’t have asked for better weather on a Saturday in January!!
Melita & John both got ready at Aurora Farms before heading to Grace Church Downtown Greenville for their ceremony. The two were surrounded by family and friends and y’all they were such a fun group!! Loved getting to meet everyone and see how they doted on these two!! And then seeing Melita and John together that day makes me smile soo big!! These two opted to hold hands and pray with one another prior to the ceremony but not see one another. Well I can’t tell you how many times I almost jumped between the two of them because they both kept coming awfully close to peeking their heads around the barn door!! 🙂 🙂 Melita & John were just so exited to get married!!
Their ceremony was beautiful and y’all these two were all smiles their entire ceremony and it was such a joy and honor to photography!! After the ceremony we headed back to Auora farms where they were celebrated and loved for the rest of the evening!! They had family and friends in from all over and they all had so much fun!! Melita & John, thank y’all soo much for wanting me to photograph your beautiful wedding day!! Here are a few of my favorites from the day!!
