Emily | Spartanburg Photographer | Charlotte Photographer

Y’all may be thinking “didn’t you just do a post about Emily?!”. And the answer is… YES!! I post back on her birthday the short head shot session we did back in August at the beach. But we just did new head shots for her and her new business so I’m sharing her again!!!! 🙂 🙂

I have known Emily for 15+ years and she has been there EVERY step of the way when it has come to Kendra Martin Photography!! We have dreamed together photography wise and we have dreamed together for her business wise was well and I am soo excited for her and this new business of hers!!! Her business is Emily Eliza Studios and in a nutshell she is a virtual assistant for creatives. So if you’re a creative in need of help CONTACT HER!!!! She is amazing (I know because I use her ALL THE TIME for VA work and am soo soo thankful for her!)!!! Yes she’s my friend but this woman is super smart and savy and gets stuff done… and as a creative business owner she’s the type of person you want in your corner!!

When she asked me to do her official business head shots she knew immediately that she wanted to do them in an urban setting so she and I spent the afternoon in downtown Spartanburg and it was soo fun!! Even though we’ve known and been friends with each other for years I was still super nervous because this wasn’t just a for fun session this session was for her photos that will go all over her social media and the website she is working on so I was nervous!! But gosh as soon as we started the session and started having fun and laughing all those nerves went away!!

Emily I am soo excited for you!! I can’t wait to see how God uses you with this new business of yours!! You are such a gift and blessing to me and my business and I’m excited for you to be the same to others!!! Thank you for wanting me to take these photos for you!!!!!! Here are a few of my favorites from this session!!

I grew up in a house full of photos. My dad or I when I was old enough, was always behind a camera…family dinners, road trips, Sunday afternoons that probably didn’t seem worth documenting but somehow always were. That’s where I fell in love with this work. And somewhere along the way, I also learned […]

Meredith and J.G. invited their family and friends to the Piermont Cottage, which is part of Old Edwards Inn for brunch and farewells the morning after their wedding day.
The morning was full stories that were filled with laughter and joy!! It was the perfect way to end an amazing weekend. Venue  | The Farm […]

Meredith and John Grady were married on a beautiful, Friday afternoon in July in Highlands, North Carolina. Meredith began her day at the Farm at Old Edwards Inn, surrounded by so many incredible women in her life. The morning was full of joy, love, and an abundance of happy tears. After Meredith slipped into her […]
