Emily | Spartanburg Photographer

I think I have rewritten this post a handful of times… scratch that I just rewrote it again so two handful of times :)… and it’s for good reason because this lady that I’m blogging about today…  Well she isn’t just anyone.  She’s one of my best friends and has been for the last 13 years…  she’s been there since the very beginning of this photography thing and she has supported me and encouraged me and challenged me and told me when to say yes to stuff and when to say no!!   She’s like a sister to me.  My girls call her “aunt” Emily and I’m pretty sure if I ask Gary’s opinion on something he will 9 times out of 10 ask “what did Emily have to say about this?”  She goes on vacations with us, we talk highs and lows, business, random, love, faith, family, books, movies, travel…. we literally talk about EVERYTHING!!!  We do life along side each other even though we live an hour away from one another…. she gets me and I get her and I am soo soo thankful that 13 years ago by chance we met in a McAllister’s Deli in Wilmington, NC!!  I’m soo thankful that we became friends… and here we are 13 years later getting to be the best kind of friends.

Emily is the person that you call when the world seems to be crumbling all around you.  She’s the person you call when you hit a goal.  She’s the person that you call when you just want to talk about nothing in particular or to vent about silly little things.  She’s the person that is there for her friends and loves them like no other.  Emily is the friend that gives it to you straight and loves you and supports you.  Emily is a person that loves God, her family & friends likes crazy… shoot she loves like crazy.  When Emily does life with you… well it’s not half way.  Emily doesn’t do half way… she goes all or nothing and I love that!!  Emily, you are an amazing woman and I am soo soo thankful for you!!!  I am thankful for your witness, your love, your friendship!!  Thank you for loving me & my family the way you do.

You probably realized I was going to hold onto these photos until your birthday… 🙂 Thank you so much for wanting to get back in front of my camera at the beach!!  Happy Birthday my friend!!  I hope today is wonderful!!!!!!!!!
