Cara’s Southern Bleachery Bridal Portraits | Greenville Wedding Photographers

Kendra Martin Photography | Southern Bleachery

I first met Cara at her best friends bridal portrait session last summer and here I was this summer photographing her bridal portraits!!  Cara is one of those people that you feel at home with instantly!!  She makes you feel welcome & like you’ve been friends forever and I love that!! I love that she loves her people with all of her heart and that she also loves Jesus too!!  It has been a privileged to get to know Cara over the last year and some months and I am so excited to finally share her bridal portraits because her and Nick got married last Friday!!!!

When we first set up the date to do her portraits we were going to do an entirely different location but then as we got closer to the date Cara contacted me and asked if we could change the location …. and of course I was game… especially when she said it was going to be to Southern Bleachery!!  I love how brides stand out in this space for their bridals so when anyone asks it’s usually one of the first locations I mention!!  We had soo much fun a few months ago for this session and I’m so excited that now y’all can see a few of my favorites!!!

Photography is in my blood and seeking truth is in my soul. Which is a deep way of saying, I’ve loved to take photos for a really long time, y’all. I’d love to share my story with you then listen to yours.

I photographed a wedding at a private estate two years ago where hair and makeup ran behind. We went from having an hour and a half for all of the portraits to having thirty minutes, and that thirty minutes still had to cover the bride and groom, the wedding party, and both families. While we […]

Palm Springs, California is one of those places you visit and you’ll never forget!! I loved my time there and really enjoyed my time with Sasha & Chloe for their session amongst the windmills!! We had so much fun and I’m so excited to share a handful of my favorite images from my session with […]

I was standing on a porch in Highlands last fall, watching the fog roll down over the mountains while a bride got her veil pinned in by her mom. Nobody was rushing. There was coffee going cold on a side table and somebody’s grandfather telling a story in the next room. And I remember thinking: […]
