I am soo excited to share Shawna & Elliot’s engagement session with you guys!! I met up with the two of them& their sweet dog a few Sunday’s ago… VERY EARLY but gosh it was soo soo worth it!!! Y’all the weather was beautiful & I had soo much fun getting to hang out with them!!! I have been looking forward to their engagement session since last fall and now I’m just weeks away from getting to spend their wedding day with them and I can NOT wait!!!!
A lot of the time engagement sessions happen months if not a full year prior to the wedding day & I love those because there is this newness to being engaged and planning the wedding & all the excitement that comes with it. But I’m going to say I kind of love an engagement session just a few weeks prior the wedding maybe even more!!! I say that because now most of the planning is done & there is just a different feeling. Yes Shawna & Elliot were still just as excited as they would have been but there’s this feeling of “we are weeks/days from being husband & wife” that is there and brings a totally different element to the session and I LOVED It!!!! So for all the brides out there trying to decide when to do your session… you can’t go wrong at any point!!! 🙂
