What I love most about wedding days are that they are all incredibly different. I love that my couples take their day and make them entirely their own!! Katie & Chisholm’s wedding day was no different!! I loved walking into Katie’s parents house to start the day because it was walking into the house she grew up in. Getting to hear and see Katie surrounded by her family & friends as she got ready in HER ROOM was something that was soo sweet!! Katie & her dad had their backs to me during their first look but I have a feeling there might have been a few tears shed during that moment. I will forever remember the embrace and the whispers that were shared between the two of them!!! I sure do love daddy/daughter moments!!!
As Chisholm was walking to the spot where he’d see his bride for the first time he asked me how he was supposed to react. I told him he needed to let it happen and react however he was feeling. And y’all when he turned around he was ALL smiles to see Katie for the first time & it was so sweet to document and be part of!! These two make me laugh and smile soo soo much!! From their handshake greetings to the way they cut up and love on each other … these two are so much fun to be around!! And they also know how to have a good time!! I loved squeezing my way between their family & friends who were on the dance floor to capture those moments!! I love that the entire day (well except for a few happy tears here and there) these two were all smiles and soo excited about getting married!!!
Katie & Chisholm, thank y’all soo soo much for wanting me to document your wedding day!! I loved it and I have loved getting to know you two!!! I can’t wait to see what marriage brings for you two!!!
