I was so excited when Hope contacted me about photographing her bridal portraits. I feel like I’ve known hope for a few years but in reality the first time I ever met Hope in person was at her session. I think I know her so well because I’m friends with her sister!! So when Hope was in front of my camera it was like documenting a friend… which now I is what I can call Hope!! Hope became a Mrs. last weekend so after holding on to these images for over two months I can FINALLY share them!!!! When we started talking about the location for the session I wasn’t 100% sure where we’d land… but after throwing around a few places Hope said “let’s do Southern Bleachery“. So that’s where we did them!! I love doing bridal portraits at Southern Bleachery because #1 I love the way it looks… I love that it’s part of the mill that they’ve painted all white and left the big windows!! The windows are probably my favorite part about the space!!! #2 I love doing bridal portraits there because of the way I feel when I’m there. I feel like I can create & be myself and capture whomever is in front of my camera just the way they are. It’s like it’s this big blank canvas and I get to come in and paint it!! So Hope I’m super super happy this is where you picked!!! Thank you so much for wanting me to document these portraits for you.
