I have to say that one thing I love most about the photography industry are the relationships with other photographers that can come with it.  I know I’ve probably said it before because I’ve had this sweet family in front of my camera before… but y’all I am sooo thankful to have this sweet lady in my life.  I stumbled on Jamie when I was searching for a wedding photographer for my best friends wedding  5 years ago and after meeting Jamie in person and then getting to know each other via email we’ve become really good friends and talk almost daily… I think if we had it our way we’d live in the same neighborhood.. but we don’t we live a good 4-5 hours apart…. and even if the only times we get to hang out is when we’re in front of each others cameras I’ll take it!! She is such a dear dear friend to me and I am so thankful our paths crossed the way they did!!!  I have had so much fun getting to know not only Jamie but her whole little family and it was a pleasure to have them in front of my camera again in November!! Y’all IT WAS FREEZING.  I think the week we did photos it was crazy warm and we were crossing our fingers for a warm Saturday morning but then we all woke up to freezing cold and since they were in town visiting family we had to just do the session cold or not!!!  Jamie, thank you so much for wanting me to document your sweet sweet family again!!!  Here are a few of my favorite images from their November family session!!

Rachel & Ben were married on an incredible fall weekend in the upstate of South Carolina.  The weekend started out with family and friends celebrating these two at the Greenville Country Club for the rehearsal dinner.  The included hugs, the most beautiful toasts, and Ben grabbing his guitar and playing/singing for guests.  That evening set […]

For the last few years I’ve photographed Ballet Spartanburg’s performances of the Nutcracker.  It is an honor to capture these incredible students and professional dancers that share the stage for this family favorite in the heart of Spartanburg, SC.  Most years I capture the dress rehearsals, this past year due to a wedding in Charleston […]

After 18 years and hundreds & hundreds of weddings, I’ve had a front-row seat to some of the most thoughtful, personal, and beautifully designed wedding days across the Southeast. And when couples ask me what I remember most about a wedding, the answer is almost always the details. I think about the invitation suite printed […]
