Greenville Wedding Photographer | Proposal

I LOVE documenting love stories!!  Which means when I get emails asking me to document someone asking their girlfriend to spend the rest of their lives with them I get even more excited because that means I get to play a VERY VERY small role in their love story.  Andres contacted me back in September telling me he was so excited to propose to Paola and he wanted me there to document it.  So at the end of September after emails and a phone call I was all set to document Andres asking Paola to marry him.  I love that Andres wanted to make this moment so special for Paola and not only did he set up a little area where he’d propose but their closest friends and family were there as well to witness it all.  Before Andres & I talked through all the details I was stressing out about where to hide at this particular park but after finding out he was setting something up and that as soon as Paola got there she’d know something was up I knew it didn’t matter if I was standing in front of them because well… she was going to know almost immediately that he was about to ask her to be his wife and that meant I didn’t have to hide 🙂 :)!!  I loved watching the two of them walk hand in hand down the bridge where Andres got down on one knee.  I have NO idea what he said to her because I was pretty far away but he was grinning ear to ear and so were those that snuck up behind him as he asked the question… which was followed by a big hug and even bigger smiles!!!  I loved getting to stand back and watch the two of them be congratulated by their family & friends and then get to hug them myself!!  After hugs I stole the two of them away for a few couples photos!!  Y’all these two are crazy sweet and it was such an honor to document this special time in their lives and then just the two of them together.  Andres, thank you for wanting me to photograph your proposal to Paola!! I am SOO very excited for the two of you!!!!  Here are a few of my favorite images from the proposal!!

Rachel & Ben were married on an incredible fall weekend in the upstate of South Carolina.  The weekend started out with family and friends celebrating these two at the Greenville Country Club for the rehearsal dinner.  The included hugs, the most beautiful toasts, and Ben grabbing his guitar and playing/singing for guests.  That evening set […]

For the last few years I’ve photographed Ballet Spartanburg’s performances of the Nutcracker.  It is an honor to capture these incredible students and professional dancers that share the stage for this family favorite in the heart of Spartanburg, SC.  Most years I capture the dress rehearsals, this past year due to a wedding in Charleston […]

After 18 years and hundreds & hundreds of weddings, I’ve had a front-row seat to some of the most thoughtful, personal, and beautifully designed wedding days across the Southeast. And when couples ask me what I remember most about a wedding, the answer is almost always the details. I think about the invitation suite printed […]
