I am sooo very excited to share Jodie’s bridal portraits with you all!! I met her out at Ellery Farms back in August and I’ve had to keep them under wraps until now!! Her & Tyler got married on Saturday so I’m free to share them!! As with most August afternoons in Greenville or anywhere in the upstate it’s muggy and an afternoon shower is to be expected! I was watching the weather for probably a week because we really didn’t have another day that we could move this session if we got rained out. The day of everything look great… until I hopped in the car and watched the black clouds that were clearly in the Ellery Farms direction!! I live about 30 minutes from Ellery Farms and stayed dry until about 10 minutes out. My heart sank because I knew Jodie had her hair & makeup done so at that point we were going to make it work and thankfully there is a BEAUTIFUL farmhouse at the farm so if it came down to it, we’d spend most of the time in doors and do what we could on the porch. It continued to sprinkle as I arrived and as we started but y’all… it turned out to be the most beautiful afternoon!!! We had amazing light and I am just so smitten with Jodie’s images!! Jodie, thank you for trusting me and being willing to take these photos despite what was happening outside!! I’m not going to talk to much about you 😉 because I still have your wedding to blog and want to really talk about you there… but I have to say, you are sooo incredibly sweet and kind and I have LOVED getting to know you!!
