Greenville Photographer | Elizabeth & Rob

When we moved to Spartanburg a little over two years ago I knew 2 other people (besides Gary!!) and so I knew that I wanted to get involved in the community via an organization or a church or something.  Finding a church home wasn’t the easiest task (when your dad is who you compare other preachers to it makes finding another church difficult… but I can say that now a little over 2 years after moving we do have a new church home)… so I knew I needed to also look in other areas to meet new people and be involved… and that’s where Junior League came in.  A friend of mine mentioned it to me and so I decided to give it a try and I am so glad I did!!!  I have met so many amazing women through the organization and I’m also getting to do a small part in helping our community.

Elizabeth was the provisional chair and y’all she is the sweetest!! What’s really funny is that she’s from North Carolina as well… and her dad is a Methodist minister like my dad (so yes we are fellow PK’S!!!), she worked with my sister at summer camp AND she totally knew who I was because she had seen me act silly on stage as a staff member at a huge youth event that goes on in our church conference… it was totally a small world when we started realizing all these fun pieces!!!!  I’ve really enjoyed getting to know Elizabeth over the last year and I am excited to get to know her even better!!!!!!  Loved having her and her sweet husband Rob in front of my camera a few weeks ago in downtown Spartanburg.  It was a TOASTY night but Rob rocked the suit and then blazer like a champ and I am in LOVE with the way their outfits looked in both the locations we shot at!!! Elizabeth had her hair and makeup done by Danielle Davis Burnett and it looked soo good!! (If anyone ever needs Hair & Makeup done she is the lady to call… bug me and I’ll send you her information!!).  You can say that it was a pretty awesome evening photographing these two!!!! Elizabeth & Rob, thank you so much for wanting to get in front of my camera!!!  I loved laughing and smiling and watching the two of you be goofy and love on each other!!!! Here are just a few of my favorite photos from their session!!!

Photography is in my blood and seeking truth is in my soul. Which is a deep way of saying, I’ve loved to take photos for a really long time, y’all. I’d love to share my story with you then listen to yours.

When someone says “we’re really drawn to candid wedding photos,” I know exactly what they mean, but I also know it means something different to every couple. And honestly? That’s part of what I love about it. Because candid doesn’t mean chaotic, and it definitely doesn’t mean careless.  Candid means intentional presence. It means pausing […]

I took a trip to Knoxville, TN to document Sarah & Andy’s engagement session.  They wanted to do their session where they will be getting married in 2026 and it was the best decision ever!  Not only did I get to meet and hang out with Sarah & Andy, but I also was able to […]

Greenville, you’ve been a beautiful backdrop—but lately, I’ve fallen hard for something else: private estate weddings. If you’re dreaming of tying the knot somewhere that’s more your world than a checklist, a family home‑turned‑wedding‑day‑stage is where the real magic happens. Why private estates feel so right Authentic comfort from beginning to end It’s your space. […]
