I was able to take baby O’s newborn photos 2 days after he was born!!! If you missed his fresh 48 photos be sure to check those out here. This little man is simply adorable and I am in love… I guess it helps that he is my nephew!! He was awesome for these photos of just him… and boy do I love getting to take wide awake newborn photos!!!
I’m so glad I took my 100mm lens with me to Texas because it meant I was able to take a few details photos of this sweet little one!! Ohh how I love baby details!!!
The perks of staying with my sister & brother-in-law meant I could take photos of him whenever… so as soon as he drifted off to sleep of course I had him back in front of my camera for a few more photos of just him!!
So I took the photos of O on Wednesday, the day he came home from the hospital and then bright (well not really it was really cloudy) & early on Thursday morning… before they headed to a doctor’s appointment and we got on the road to head back to South Carolina I did the actual newborn session with all three of them. I know they were all tired but boy did they do a great job for the session & I am very much in love with their photos & them as a family of THREE!!!!
O decided to be awake again… but if you know me, I love a wide awake newborn so I had no problems with seeing his beautiful eyes!!
Had to get a few with Daddy & O!! And the painting over Cara & David’s bed is beautiful… yet crazy creepy… they got it on their honeymoon to Laos/Thailand so it’s special to them… but good gravy I’d have to cover that thing up when I went to sleep!!!
A few more of just O!!
He loves his mommy!!!
David & Cara, thank y’all for wanting me to take these photos of the three of you!! Thanks for being troopers for getting up early to take them as well!! Love you guys & so glad that y’all are now back on the East Coast!!!!!
