Greenville Photographer | Fun evening at Furman with this fun family!!

I had soo much fun photographing this sweet family at the Furman rose garden this summer.  Traci, John, and their two sweet kiddos are a delight to be around.  I have absolutely loved getting to know Traci since I first met her in January!!  Traci is the kind of friend that you wished you lived across the street from… I definitely wish 30 miles of highway didn’t separate us that’s for sure because I definitely love chatting and spending time with her & wish I could do more of it.  Traci & John are actually the owners of Ellery Farms, a wedding venue here in the Greenville, SC area… it’s absolutely beautiful (just think white farm house with trees & fields surrounding it… I LOVE IT) & I have loved being there the handful of times I’ve had a chance to take photos there.  These two are awesome & in the short amount of time I’ve known them I’ve learned so much from them & look up to them & am so thankful to have met them!!

When Traci asked me to take their family photos I was super excited because I’d met her kids in passing but even in that brief passing, I knew they were awesome kids & I knew we’d have a lot of fun during a session… and I was right, they were great & had me laughing and running & just having an absolute ball.  I was actually really nervous we might have to reschedule the session due to the rain that came through the day of, but thankfully we decided to go on with it and ended up with an absolutely GORGEOUS evening on the Furman campus (which also happens to be John’s Alma Mater … which is awesome & made the location special)!!

Traci & John, thank y’all for wanting me to take your family photos.  You four are amazing & I enjoyed our evening together & it has me looking forward to getting to know the four of you even more!!  It was such an honor to document y’alls love for one another!!!

Photography is in my blood and seeking truth is in my soul. Which is a deep way of saying, I’ve loved to take photos for a really long time, y’all. I’d love to share my story with you then listen to yours.

I photographed a wedding at a private estate two years ago where hair and makeup ran behind. We went from having an hour and a half for all of the portraits to having thirty minutes, and that thirty minutes still had to cover the bride and groom, the wedding party, and both families. While we […]

Palm Springs, California is one of those places you visit and you’ll never forget!! I loved my time there and really enjoyed my time with Sasha & Chloe for their session amongst the windmills!! We had so much fun and I’m so excited to share a handful of my favorite images from my session with […]

I was standing on a porch in Highlands last fall, watching the fog roll down over the mountains while a bride got her veil pinned in by her mom. Nobody was rushing. There was coffee going cold on a side table and somebody’s grandfather telling a story in the next room. And I remember thinking: […]
