Moving to South Carolina and being in the Greenville & Spartanburg area has been great and has had so many positives… one of which is that we now a hop and a skip from some of our family & friends (instead of a plane ride)!!! Back in December we headed “home” aka to the high point/thomasville area to spend time with Gary’s family. While there I met up with my friend Whitney to just have fun and take photos AND grab coffee afterwards. A few years ago I was in need of a logo redesign and had NO idea where to turn… I just so happened to see Whitney on LinkedIn (I think she popped up as someone I might know because she was attending school at my Alma mater UNCW) and checked out her work and within just a few emails knew that this young lady wasn’t just going to be the person that would help me out design wise… she was also going to become a friend. Over the last two years I have loved getting to know and become friends with Whitney. We had tried to meet up a few times when I’d been back on the east coast but it never really worked out, but finally in December we were able to meet in person… and y’all it was like I had known Whitney for years!!! Whitney is so much fun to be around and even though we were literally freezing (you see her in cute dresses what you don’t see is me in a turtleneck, wool jacket, boots, scarf, gloves, and tobogan… IT WAS COLD COLD COLD COLD COLD!!!!!)… i digress… even though we were freezing we had sooo much fun!!! If it would have been warmer I guarantee we could have stayed out there for a lot longer just chatting and shooting and being girls!!!!! Whitney, you were a total trooper for braving the cold in these cute dresses!!! Yep, I said dresses… she wore two different dresses and in doing so caused me to have way too many images to choose from…. sooo not only am I blogging about Whitney today, but she will hit the blog again next week as well!!!! So be sure to check back to see more and hear more about Whitney!! OHHHH and after your finished here you might want to check out her work… she’s pretty amazing at what she does!!!!
y’all how amazing is this dress?!?!?! She had posted it on IG a few weeks prior to this session and I secretly was hoping that she would wear it for photos because I knew it would be AMAZING amongst the winter woods!!!! Speaking of woods… y’all I can’t thank my best friends parents aka my 2nd parents enough for letting me show up at their house at like 6:30 in the morning to take photos!!! I know at times they think I’m a bit crazy but photos at the crack of dawn in like 25 degree (may have been colder or warmer I can’t exactly remember now) probably makes me really crazy!! 🙂 🙂 But so glad they let me be crazy because their property is AMAZING and I LOVE to photograph sessions there!!!
Isn’t Whitney’s smile contagious?!?!?!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this set of photos… she went from serious to laughing in like a second and I am sooo glad I captured it because all three of these images are SOOO her!!!
Her laugh is contagious too!!!!!!
Whitney, You are such a delight to be around!!!!
LOVE this photos of Whitney… yes, I love so many of them but this one… I really really love!!!
Ohh I love this one too!!! AHHH see, this is why I’m doing two blog posts!!!
